Information on Types of Donations
WAYS TO HELP – All donors, including the family of a Memorial Donation, will receive acknowledgement. Amounts will not be mentioned.
The gift of charity is a heart warming experience. There are several ways to acknowledge a loved one. Please specify when donating to Ribbons of Life Breast Cancer Foundation. Unspecified donations will be ear marked for general uses.
General Donation: A donation given to help Ribbons of Life continue to provide education, advocacy, social and emotional support within Ventura County.
Honor: A donation given, in honor of a person, for any special occasion. Anniversary, Birthday, Graduation, etc.
Memorial: Upon the passing of a loved one.
Legacy: A legacy gift is an amount from a personal estate. The Oxford Dictionary defines the word “blessing” as “a benefit for which one is grateful”. Most of us give and receive many blessings throughout our lives. The act of extending one’s love and generosity beyond our own mortal lifetime is the purest generosity – the ultimate kindness. Execute your Legacy Giving through your personal attorney and contact Ribbons of Life’s Certified Public Accountant, Tom Hanna.
Please help Ribbons of Life continue to assist those in Ventura County who are facing the challenges of breast cancer.
