When you’re at the end of your rope, there’s no place like hope.
That hope can be found from the wisdom and understanding of education.

Congratulations to ALL of our Ribbons of Life Scholarship Recipients!

Anyone who supports and pursues education and lifelong learning is a winner!!

EDUCATION TO ACTIVELY COPE  –  Our goal is to make it possible for those living with breast cancer, to take classes in art, ceramics, computer, language or whatever the recipient chooses, to improve the quality of their life. Acquiring new skills or following one’s academic dreams can be beneficial to those living with breast cancer, to their family and to their community.  Recipients are encouraged to share what they learned with Ribbons of Life participants in a brief presentation at one of our BreastFests.

APPLICATIONS

Available to those living with breast cancer and who reside in Ventura County California. The scholarship is awarded each year.  If funds are not used within a year, a new application is required.  Past scholarship recipients need not reapply.  Applications are available online, on the C.L.O.C.S. table at BreastFests, and by mail.
